He's got about five little flowers on him right now and one wee little green tomato and since we have at least two more weeks in the semester, I think it's safe to say that I will at least get to eat one tomato off of my tomato plant.
So yeah, only two weeks left in the semester. Kind of scary because it's moving so quickly. I feel like I say that every single semester so maybe time just really is that fast. I haven't begun to feel the end of semester pressure but that will probably change as of this week.
Monday, was Steve's birthday so we had a little get together and played games with him. It was nice and the team I was on won cranium but I'm not sure who actually won when we played catch phrase. It was probably my team again.
Fourth of July happened! Kyle and I had a picnic at Beaver Dick park and then later at night we got some small fireworks to set off. All in all, a good Independence Day, if I do say so myself.
Also this week, Sabrina was back in town so got to hang out with her for a little bit.
Friday night was a Tron-a-thon! That's right, a Tron marathon! We watched classic Tron and then we also watched Tron: Legacy. Isn't it amazing? I am not the only one out there who is obsessed. I am so thankful that Mary also enjoys them. Has it really been over a year since I met Bruce Boxleitner? Well, almost everyone at the Tron-a-thon enjoyed the movies (there were nine of us and only one disliked them). Which is good because since Kyle approved of them, it means I can keep dating him. I'm pretty sure Mary, Katie, and I (maybe Pierce?) were the only ones who had seen both of them before.
This Sunday I had to give a talk in sacrament meeting. I haven't given a talk in church in years. I've never been terribly good at them and they always end up being super short by complete accident. To be honest, I actually forgot that I had agreed to give a talk this week until Saturday afternoon when Kyle reminded me about it. Whoops! He helped me write a lot of it. Actually, he might have written about half of it. It was on patriotism! It was on citizenship and the 12th article of faith! I am no good at any of that! It turned out alright. I was last to speak and I only had about five minutes of time left in the meeting so it all timed out perfectly. My 7-10 minute talk fit perfectly into those 5 minutes and I only said 'ummm' about 234098 times.
Oh yeah, this week I brought back my facebook. Someone asked nicely and I finally bent to the peer pressure. I haven't been on since I brought it back on the fourth, sorry about that.
