Meet Chaplin, my tomato plant.

I bought him this week and hopefully he will not die any time soon. I'm trying very hard to make sure he gets watered every single day and that he gets plenty of sunlight. It's hard because we don't exactly have a lot of room in front of our apartment and I might be a little more than paranoid about someone stealing him if he's too close to the sidewalk. This means that I'm constantly moving him from close to our apartment to a little further from the apartment because we face north and I can't have him in the shade all day. I'm trying to be optimistic by telling myself that I'll get at least a few tomatoes before the end of the semester.

We've finally gotten to genetics in biology and this makes me really happy. We aren't going any deeper into the subject than what I've already learned from many classes before so I'll admit, I've kind of been zoning out during class the last few days. We have our exam over in on Tuesday so we'll see how bad of a decision that should have been when that happens.

It's finally summer when the EFY kids start popping up on campus. It's actually quite hilarious to see these kids running around because I think to myself, there's no possible way I could have ever been like that. Oh but I was.

Exciting news, Muse released the title and a teaser for their new album which will come out September 17, 2012. It's called The Second Law. First thing first, dubstep via guitar? Alright, alright, let's see how this turns out. Second, I'm worried that this album will just be my chemistry homework all over again.

The past few weeks, I've had an incredible increase of spam email. Someone out there really thinks I'm having performance issues. I've been trying to think of why I've gotten so much more spam that usual and then it finally hit me, Disney. I had given Disney my email for their stupid Brave contest. Like I could give up the opportunity to maybe win a trip to Scotland? Well, it looks like Disney has given out my email to others so all I have to say is thank you Disney, thank you.

Yesterday, we celebrated Mary and Emily's half birthdays by going out to dinner (Two half birthdays make a whole birthday?). Nothing too fancy but it was still fun. It was good barbeque too. Mary and Emily had been going on and on about this bbq place for weeks so I finally had an excuse to go there and it really was that good.

Then we come to today, Father's day. I've been trying to get a hold of my father but it seems like I'm going to have to wait in line a bit for that chance. That's alright, I can wait. Happy father's day, pappi!
