Okay not his most flattering angle I swear he's lost weight!
I'm just really glad to have him and Ellie because they're both silly and wake me up at ridiculous hours (5am today, yeah, I'm looking at you Ellie)
She knows what she did
Anywho, I know it's been a while since I posted (don't ask where June went) and I used to get really frustrated with my friends who had blogs in college and then suddenly stopped once they graduated. I still wanted to know what was going on with them. Well, now I understand. Keeping up a blog once you've graduated is difficult. There's so much going on and it's so sporadic and less synchronized than school ever was which is a petty excuse but I require so much structure to feel normal. So, I apologize and I'll just glaze over things for the meantime.
After graduation, Sarah, Stephanie and I went to Montreal, Canada for vacation. It was pretty rad. I like Canada.
My aunt visited from Texas a few weeks ago so I got to go home and see her- that was pretty rad. We went to Frankenmuth and I got to spend some time with my cousin's kid (my cousin once removed?) who breaks my kid rule and is adorable.
My dad's birthday was last week and Evette's birthday is today. I got to visit my dad (even though my parents social lives are just too busy for me and we didn't even get to see each other on his actual birthday haha) and unfortunately Evette lives a little too far away for me to go visit her. Even though I'm still pretty sure she misses my cats more than me.
I bought a new bookcase- yeah I'm still going on about that. For a few days I was able to get all my extra books off the ground and everything fit perfectly. Yeah... like I said, only a few days.
The piles have already started once again
We've been to the beach a few times. Ah, Michigan you always know how to give us a perfect beach day, don't you?
It was actually super rad to have all the fog. We swam out to the buoy and could hardly see the shore. (I know mum, don't worry, we survived!) It was really neat and we had a lot of fun. We also walked to the lighthouse and it was even foggy-er there. Sadly, we didn't have any loss of time or space travel like we were hoping. Weird or What lied to me about electric fog of Lake Michigan. (wish I could find the actual episode but William Shatner. William Shatner)
Does your car get you and average fuel milage of the answer to life, the universe and everything? I didn't think so.
I remember getting that text. "This is the biggest cat I've ever seen!!" Bahahaha
