Christmas was here and gone in a flash. Before I knew it I had to be back in Kalamazoo for work and it was a busy week since everyone still has family over and is wanting to go out to dinner. By the end of the week they were kicking me out of the restaurant because I was hitting over time. Which was fine by me because it meant I was able to go back home for my mum's birthday. Which we had planned a surprise birthday party without her knowledge. She was super shocked. I dunno if that means we're actually quite sneaky or if she just never imagined that we would be able to do such a thing. But she nearly cried and we all ate cake and Sarah and I got to chase Evette around the gym. Sadly, cute-as-a-button-Evette is gone and so is my sister and her husband.
We'll miss them! Look at Evette watching the Doctor Who Christmas special with us!! But they only stayed until the day after mum's birthday and are now back in California. Just like how me and the cats are back in kzoo. It was a fun drive, I think they're both getting more comfortable with being in cars even though I spoil them and allow them to be out of their crates which means that I just get lap full of cat. Double cat lap.
Pancake on the left, Ellie on the right. Cause that's safe, right?
School is supposed to start tomorrow but guess what? NOPE.
School is canceled already. We're in the middle of an amazing snow storm right now in which we've already gained over a foot of snow just today. I'll admit that my car has already gotten stuck once. Poor Lazarus. Kinda broke down on the way back from my parents the last time I drove back. Half way my engine started mis firing and I'm no car genius but from the sounds of it I'm down to about two cylinders. Right? That's uh probably kinda bad. Don't worry, my parents are coming this week to see Hello Dolly! Hopefully the show isn't canceled because of the snow though, eep.
Merrrr that must be fun to have both your cats on you like that, lol. I feel like Molly would make me crash in like the first 3 seconds by clawing my eyes out.
